X10 - Electron Ptychography: Experimental Considerations and Data Analysis
In this short course, we will cover the theory and practice of electron ptychography, with emphasis on hands-on tutorials utilizing open-source codes to reconstruct experimental ptychography data.
Topics within this Short Course will include:
- Theory of Measuring Potentials and Fields in STEM
- Methods for deep sub-ångström resolution, three-dimensional reconstruction using multislice ptychography, and measurement of magnetic fields
- Overview of electron detector technologies for ptychography data collection
- Guidelines for acquiring, calibrating, and evaluating high-quality ptychography datasets
- Hands-on tutorials with the latest open-source ptychography reconstruction codes, using publicly available datasets
- Quantification of ptychography results and recognition of common artifacts.
